Nick's Adventure

I know this is my blog but I must tell you about Nick's upcoming adventure. I am sure it will forever change his life and ours as a family too.

Nick will be traveling to Kenya this summer (Mid June) on a mission trip with three other men from our church. They will be working with a well digging team to dig a well for a village that desperately needs clean water. We are both very excited and admittedly a little overwhelmed. Nick had been feeling God leading him to a mission trip. He was introduced to two possibilities for this summer and felt the Kenya trip to be the best fit. He is currently busy making sure that he has all of the vaccinations needed and that all of his paperwork is in order.

I am so proud of him! I am amazed that God has put such a wonderful man in my life. It is so wonderful to watch God work in our lives and in our hearts as we strive to honor His kingdom.

I ask you to pray for Nick as God prepares his heart for this trip. I ask for your prayers for myself, that I would be a supportive and helpful wife.

I pray that our hearts and minds would be ever open for God's prompting and leading.

Unspoken Words

It is a well known fact that women have MANY more words to express throughout a day than men do. I need an outlet!!! An outlet for all of those extra words that never seem to make it to the surface. Words that could make a difference or speak to someone. Words that just need to escape my brain so that it can rest.

So, my outlet...blogging! I am BACK! :o) I won't promise daily writings, but I will write and post as much as possible.
