God works in amazing ways and sends us who or what we need at the exact moment that we need it! I was having another one of those...oh my goodness, school is going to start soon and I am so not prepared...days today. I went to the store to grab a few things that I forgot this week at Walmart. As soon as I walked in a little boy ran up to me to say "Hello!" I will have this little boy in my class in just a few short weeks. I have only met him once, on the last day of school, for just a few minutes. Yet, he still ran right up to me! We chatted for a few minutes and the he said, "I will see you in third grade!" Oh that did my heart good! I needed that! God knew I needed that! I get the chance to make a difference in the lives of children. Leave a positive influence in their little souls! What an awesome feeling!
Thank you, God for sending that little boy into my path today! Help me to be the teacher that you have so clearly called me to be. Let your light shine through me in all that I do! Amen
